The writer
Hi, I'm Ramji.
Writing at the intersection of philosophy, self-help, and the examined life.
I'm writing articles here on philosophy, self-help, futurism, and thought experiments. If you find yourself fascinated by the intellectual stimulation of reason and thought, you're in the right place.
Everything I write in my articles has been proven by implementation in my own life. My glib wording on this is: "Just because a logic is sound doesn't mean it's true."
From my introduction, you might be inclined to think I am theoretical — but I try my best to stay away from pure theory. If something can't be put into practice, it's not advice, it's entertainment. Intellectual entertainment is a superior form of entertainment, but entertainment nonetheless.
What you'll find here
My foundational goal is to write about topics that haven't been shared enough but are definitely useful enough. A few examples:
- Why not all advice is equal
- Advantages of first principle thinking
- The measurement of a good information diet
- What mindfulness is actually about
- Metaphysics, plainly explained
That being said, everything I tell has already been told — because there's no invention of concepts, only permutations and combinations which result in discoveries. However, what is good or useful will remain the same.
